Since Bush cut taxes during the past eight years, shouldn't the economy be booming like nuts right now?

Bush is a moderate, his biggest problem was when he agreed with Democrats. Deficit spending is a democrat tendency. Cutting taxes kept us out of a recession after 9/11. It also increased federal revenue. When evil, racist, genocidal, terrorists are at war with the United States, we have a duty to fight back. The Democrats gave us this financial disaster with their "Community Reinvestment Act" The economy is a complicated combination of factors. The democrats are about 90% to blame. After the democrats instituted the CRA, they had to fix things so Fannie and Freddie could ume the bad mortgages. Then they made it so other entities could help insure them. They installed democrat political hacks in Fannie and Freddie because no legitimate businessman would have done so. Then, true to form, they blame the mess on "deregulation" and on Bush.
