ROUND 2... s please, gay guys can be harsh :o)?

So, I just recently got out of this unhealthy relationship, and started hanging out with this girl I went on 1 date with a year ago. The connection has always been there, and we both know that. We just started hanging out a lot, again, and we are super affectionate with one another, and last night I was drunk and stayed the night with her and her friends. We didn't sleep together, but we kissed and snuggled. We got into a deep convo about us, and our past, and what we both felt, etc. The only problem is her "ex" THING in Indy (2 hrs away from us in the Nati) They aren't together, but they are... s know what i'm talking about. I believe the words coming out of her mouth, and I kinda just re-entered the picture after a year, so I don't expect her to just drop everything... BUT is there any good advice along the way you all could throw my way... just to keep in the back of my mind? How to act? What to say? Etc... I'm being really chill right now, and letting her have her space..... ??? Any other advice?
