Can you get caught speeding going the wrong way by a gatso speed camera rear facing?

The car in front of me was going unbelievably slowly I mean about 20mph in a 30mph zone and I had enough!! So I overtook him, I only did about 32mph but still. It was a two lane road and I drove towards a rear facing camera that usually takes a picture of drivers going past the speed camera, but will it have got me if i went towards the rear facing camera and taken a picture of the front of my car?
